Lumleys visited Tante Marie Cookery School on Wednesday.  We met with twenty eager students looking for work in the catering field.  For many this is their second career and they are looking for a new venture.  Tante Marie is one of the oldest cookery schools in the UK and is owned by Gordon Ramsey Holdings, Lyndy Redding from Absolute Taste and Andrew Maxwell, the Managing Director and Principal of the School. Tante Marie provides courses for Gap Year students to an 11 week Le Cordon Bleu  Diploma.  When visiting the school, the first thing that struck us was a sense of professionalism mixed with a relaxed family feel. The advantage about Tante Marie is it is very convenient to get to from London; taking only half an hour on the train to Woking.
